Words Of Wisdom

Sammy White's: To a young bowler from Brockton with TV dreams and a solid average, this was Mecca.

I had the good fortune to make the pilgrimage and bowl at Sammy White's in a roll-off. Not even a quadruple murder on the premises could sully the hallowed hardwood of Sammy White's in my remembrance of all things past.

Rare Group Shot: Brockton's Founding Fathers

This is a very rare image of the legends together. These men were fierce competitors, on and off of the oiled hardwood. Duck Wilson's death brought them together at his wake. The Duckmeister, as he was affectionately called by friends and foes alike, passed with a 115 lifetime average. That's Duck, in the Urn that looks like a trophy, far right.
Did You Know? (Fun Facts To Share): Whenever he attempted to pick up a spare, Duck displayed a unique body english in his follow through and high finish, dubbed, "Der Kaiser Roll," by teammates and opposing bowlers.
